Our services are designed to help the controlling owners of a business to build a more profitable and more valuable company.The businesses we represent typically have five or fewer controlling shareholders. The majority of our clients are high net worth individuals that have between 30% and 90% of their personal wealth invested in one or more medium-sized companies. They range from being first generation entrepreneurs to fifth generation family-owned businesses and other privately-owned companies. We have also represented many controlled smaller public corporations; smaller subsidiaries or divisions that are wholly-owned by larger public companies; joint ventures between private and public companies; and medium-sized businesses that are owned as portfolio companies by significant family trusts or buyout capital or private equity funds. Usually we provide a range of need-based services to client-owned companies periodically over a five to-twenty year timeframe.
